    Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Provide personalised support to NDIS participants based on their individual support plans.

    • Create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for participants.

    • Assist participants with personal care tasks with dignity and respect.

    • Support participants to engage in a range of activities, both at home and in the community.

    • Follow individual support plans and provide direct care as required.

    • Monitor and report any concerns regarding the safety and well-being of participants to the Manager.

    • Document support provided accurately and in a timely manner, including client notes and communication books.

    • Work collaboratively with families, carers, case managers, and other professionals.

    • Contribute to a positive team environment through open communication and participation in meetings.

    • You are genuinely passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives.

    • You are organised, responsible, and able to follow instructions and care plans effectively.

    • You are experienced and comfortable providing personal care with sensitivity and respect.

  • Job Title: Rostering Coordinator

    Job Desciption
    We are seeking a motivated and organised Rostering Coordinator to join our growing team. This crucial role will be responsible for the efficient and effective scheduling of support staff across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses and community-based participants. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

    About You

    • You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills.

    • You possess strong problem-solving abilities and can think proactively to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts.

    • You are adept at using scheduling software and maintaining accurate records.

    • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • You have proven experience in a rostering or coordination role, ideally within the NDIS or a similar care sector.

    • You are comfortable working independently and taking initiative.


    Qualifications & experience

    • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field is adventageous but not necessary.

    • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

    • Good computer skills with proven admin experience.

    • Proven experience in rostering, preferably within the disability, aged care, or healthcare sectors is adventageous but not necessary.

    • Proficiency in using rostering software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is adventageous but not necessary.

    • Develop and maintain efficient and effective staff rosters for SIL houses and community-based participants.

    • Coordinate staff availability, leave requests, and shift changes to ensure adequate coverage.

    • Utilize rostering software to create, adjust, and communicate schedules to support staff.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff schedules, attendance, and any related information.

    • Assist with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and data entry.

    • Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of support services through effective scheduling and administrative support.

    • You have significant and practical experience supporting individuals diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), including a strong understanding of emotion regulation strategies, and crisis management techniques.

    • You are a natural leader, capable of mentoring and guiding a team of support workers while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
